seneca labs was born from a simple observation: artificial intelligence is fundamentally built upon human experiences, yet the very people whose lives shape these systems rarely benefit from or participate in their development.
we saw a future where AI could either deepen existing inequities or create new pathways for creativity and ownership. The choice, we realized, was ours to make.
our journey began in art galleries and found spaces, where we transformed abstract fears about AI into tangible moments of wonder and possibility.
these moments of revelation led us to a deeper truth: that art and community weren't just ways to understand AI – they were blueprints for reimagining its development entirely.

Calvary is a creative technologist based in New York City with a diverse background in product management, sociology, computer engineering, and art.
Driven by a passion for creating accessible, community-centric, and ethically sound AI, he founded seneca labs in 2023.
